Hair Removal Choices Are Everywhere

Hair Removal Choices Are Everywhere

Women sometimes have it tough. Not only are they expected, for the most part, to give birth but they are also expected to adhere to certain fashion rules. Women have to worry about the latest fashions and whether or not their figures will be approved by their partners.

Yes, men have to worry about their weight and stature as well, but it is perfectly fine for a man to have a beard and mustache. Women, alas, are frowned upon for having too much body hair. Hair removal is a multi-billion dollar industry.

It is probably pretty safe to say that your first experience with hair removal came in the form of shaving. It is inexpensive and if done correctly can get the skin very smooth. All the equipment you need is water, shaving cream or gel and a razor. Oh, and you also need some time to shave.

Anyone that has ever rushed through a shaving job can attest to the numerous nicks and cuts that are left behind. The problem is that shaving has to be done on nearly a daily basis. You get rid of the unwanted hair but it comes right back.

Other solutions have been hair remover creams and waxing hair. These methods work by removing it at the roots. The time it takes to grow back is considerably lengthened but it still does grow back.

The advantage to using these methods is that they are generally easy to apply. Waxing is the exception though. If you do not want to be in a considerable amount of pain, then it is advisable to let a professional do the waxing.

A hair remover cream, such as the Nair hair remover, is a simple lotion that is applied to the skin. After a certain amount of time the cream is removed and the area is wiped clean. The downside to this method is that no matter how many scents they add to the depilatories, they still smell like chemicals. You may also have an allergic reaction to the chemicals that take away the hair. Always do a quick skin test to ensure that you are not allergic.

Hair removal products are absolutely everywhere. If you walk into any drugstore or retail store, such as Target or Wal-Mart, then you will find plenty of choices. Some are designed for the bikini area (such as cream hair remover products) and some are designed to work all over the body. The choice is ultimately yours to make. Try out a few different products and techniques and see what works best for your body.
